Take the Library Survey

The 2024 annual library survey is running from February 12-April 7. The survey is anonymous and a great opportunity to help us make your library experience even better.

Tell us what you think!

Credo Information Literacy

Hey faculty! Did you know you can incorporate Credo InfoLit into your courses? Credo Information Literacy – Core offers courses on improving information literacy skills for all students, while Credo Information Literacy – Health Science includes extra information literacy lessons for students in Nursing and Health and Human Performance. Both courses can help students learn important research skills that will lead to success in academia and their future careers.

GovInfo is a digital collection of official publications from the U.S. Federal Government. This site serves a dual purpose: to digitally preserve all publications from all three branches of the Federal Government and to make those publications available to the public. GovInfo is a completely free digital repository and the collection grows constantly.

Adobe Academic Essentials

Adobe's Academic Essentials Series offers courses from faculty and Adobe experts on podcasting, video editing, data visualization and more. Sessions are 90 minutes and will be offered every Tuesday from 6:00-7:30 p.m. through March 26.

LibKey Nomad

LibKey Nomad will help connect any online resource to our library, even if you're starting your research on Wikipedia, Google Scholar or somewhere else on the web. Avoid paywalls and get what you need in a single click.

Digital Commons

Want to learn more about TAMUC history? The University Archives digitizes more and more of their content on Digital Commons all the time. Check out the archives collection to view old copies of the East Texan, the Locust Yearbook, photos of the campus as it grew and changed and more!

Adobe Spring Institute 2024

The Adobe Spring Institute 2024 will be offered from March 4-7. This is a great opportunity to learn how to use Adobe programs to create videos, infographics, podcasts and more! Plus, attend the Train the Trainer program to learn how to teach your colleagues how to use Adobe Express. You can also find out more about Adobe Firefly, Adobe's generative AI, which is being incorporated into an increasing number of their programs.
